Foaming Pumpkin Sugar Scrub: A recipe

Foaming pumpkin scrub is the perfect addition to your beauty regeim this season. First, the sugar slough off dead cells to reveal the fresh new skin underneath. Then the pumpkin, containing anti-oxidant vitamins A and C, and zinc and alpha-hydroxy acids, nourish your fresh new skin underneath. Scrubs also increase circulation.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of sugar (brown or white)
1/4 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 cup of vegetable oil (olive, sunflower, safflower, soy,etc)
1/4 cup of unscented (or vanilla or spice scented) body wash

1. Combine ingredients in a bowl.
2. Scrub into moist skin with a circular motion.
3. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
4. Store leftover scrub in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Pumpkin Patch Contest!

During the months of September & October, The Polly Wog Patch is transformed into "The Pumpkin Patch!" I have just unveiled my Pumpkin Patch, Halloween fragrance line up and need a bit of help! *SCENT: Poison apple starts with fresh crisp apples and adds a little something extra for a bit of Haunting mystery. Lime, peach and musk round out the background notes for a refreshing take on apple.

*SCENT: Pumpkin Cupcake is a soft and moist cake with irresistible holiday spice frosting and a touch of whipped cream.

*SCENT: Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino is a yummy blend of warm pumpkin and rich dark coffee kissed with festive holiday spices.

Lemonade Scrub: A Recipe

Easy Lemonade Scrub

1/2 C Sugar

Juice of 1 lemon (halved)

Mix sugar and lemon juice to form a paste.

While showering, wet skin, rub paste into skin in a circular motion to exfoliate and increase circulation. The citrus scent will invigorate you as well!

Tip: You may place the paste onto what is left of your lemon halves to rub heels and elbows.

Cleopatra's Bath: A Recipe

Here's a super easy recipe that will leave you with smooth silky skin fit for a Queen!

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup powered or liquid milk

Add ingredients to your next hot bath & soak away!
